At Inframe Gallery Ltd we focus on Picture Framing to preservation standards. To clarify, the methods and materials used are to the highest standard, and are designed not only to enhance your pictures/artwork but also to protect them.
We offer both walk-in and pre-booked appointments at both of our shops. Pre-booking is preferred, as this guarantees your slot and prevents any waiting time.
We also have available to you, our online App. Here you can preview your frames and also order them online to collect in our shops or have them delivered.
Rest assured that all materials used in the framing process are archival quality and will not harm your artwork. We never use glue or staples. In most cases, we employ a conservation-grade, reversible hinging tape to secure your image to the mount. If this method isn’t suitable for a particular piece, we offer a variety of alternative techniques, including photo corners and platform mounts. We’ll be happy to discuss the best approach for your specific artwork.
We use acid-free mount board exclusively, so you can be confident that your artwork won’t be damaged by discoloration or bleeding. All images and artwork are mounted using an acid-free undermount. We also offer a variety of glazing options to suit your specific needs. For more information on the different types available, please see our “Glazing” tab. We’re happy to advise you on the best choice for your piece.
