Here’s a guide on how to hang a picture using picture hooks:
- Choose the right picture hook. Picture hooks come in a variety of sizes and shapes, so it’s important to choose one that’s the right size for your picture and the type of wall you’re hanging it on. If you’re hanging a heavy picture, you’ll need a larger hook. If you’re hanging a picture on a plasterboard wall, you’ll need a hook with a sharp point or picture pins that will easily pierce the plasterboard, You can always ask for our help in choosing the right hook for you.
- Mark the wall where you want to hang the picture. Use a level to mark a horizontal line on the wall at the desired height. You can always use a peice of cardboard cut to the same size as your frame to easily position it on the wall.
- Once you have measured the wall, you can mark where you want to hang the picture. Use a pencil to mark the spot on the wall along the horizontal line you made earlier.
- Drill a hole. If you are using a picture hook that requires a hole, you will need to drill a hole in the wall. Use a drill to drill a hole that is the same size as the hook. Don’t forget to use the correct Rawl plug for your wall.
- Install the picture hook. If you are using a picture hook that requires a screw, you will need to use a screwdriver to screw the hook into the wall.
- Hang the picture. Hang the picture on the picture hook by attaching the picture cord over the hook.
- Enjoy your new picture!
